Vanessa Compton Attempts The Maiden~by Jason Kehl
Ever since she popped her finger, Vanessa Compton was eyeing The Maiden, a high, classic V1 on East Mountain. On the last day of my too-short trip to Hueco, she finally climbed this beautiful line. The sun was setting, East Mountain was empty, Jason got video and I shot photos. It was awesome. Here’s Jason’s video!
