Green Runway’s debut last week at the Boulder Theater totally blew me away. I’d heard all about the Telluride Aids Benefit, the inspiration for Green Runway, so I knew it was gonna be good, but I had no idea it would be THIS good. It was awesome to see so many people come out to support the Colorado designers and dancers who worked so hard to put the project together, not to mention New Era, the show’s sponsor. It was also super fun to shoot – action, fashion and killer music – what more could a girl ask for? Check out my photo story on Green Runway here!!

Who knew it would be considerably easier to find fashionably dressed men than women in Boulder? (at least at 1:00 on Thursday afternoon on Pearl Street)
We’d barely crossed Pearl Street when we spotted our first fashionable candidates stepping out of the always trendy Laughing Goat Café. We easily spotted the Member’s Only jacket from our vantage across the street, chased them down and asked to take their picture. We never thought to consider the possibility that someone might say no, but sure enough, straight out of the gates with our fledgling idea (said idea being the street style blog you are currently reading), and all we got was a resounding no. We stared at our fashionable friends, speechless. Wait. This is Boulder, land of the coffee shop and the bicycle commute. What did they mean they didn’t have time for a two-minute photo shoot? Had we suddenly been transported to New York? But no. The sun was out and someone in spandex whizzed by on an $8000 road bike. Definitely Boulder. Huh. Strange. Read more…

I recently did a shoot for FASHIONmeGREEN, a new web project produced by Greta Eagan dedicated to high style ecofashion. FASHIONmeGREEN follows Greta to the fashion capitals of the world, where she gives green makeovers to style influencers like Lili Tenney, Client Relations Manager for Aspen Fashion Week, who modeled for us in Boulder last week. Fashion is all about bringing hotness back, so here’s a little peek into the ele-archives, the good old ecofashion days. I miss working with all these talented designers, make-up and hair artists, models, and art directors. Now I’m just fermenting good ideas for future shoots—can’t wait!
