Photographer, Harvard University Entomology Dep’t., Nov. 2008-Sept. 2009
Photographed ant specimens in E.O. Wilson’s lab, processed images with Automontage. Photojournalist for the Navajo Ant Project, a grant-funded initiative between Harvard University and Dine College dedicated to blending hard science and Navajo culture. Documented new ant research and environmental education on the Navajo Reservation near Shiprock, New Mexico, for the Global Ant Project. In charge of digital imaging, coordinating trips with visiting, international and Navajo scientists.

Involved in all aspects of professional magazine photography and production, from raw concept to finished product.
Created the Photo Editor position at elephant journal. Efficiently orchestrated creative, on-location photo shoots. Worked with lay-out designers and printers. Co-produced ‘elevision’, a weekly talk show in Boulder, Colo.
